The Best Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
3 ripe bananas, mashed
6 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tsbp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cups walnuts, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tray with paper liners.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients until evenly mixed.
Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined. Then, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Fill Muffin Cups: Pour the batter into the lined muffin tray, filling every other muffin cup. Don’t be shy—fill each cup all the way to the top!
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Allow the muffins to cool slightly in the tray before transferring them to a wire rack. Enjoy!
