I started Figsandfizz as a place to share food photography; something that felt creative, quiet, and entirely my own.
Before that, I spent time running small catering businesses and briefly attending culinary school. I realized quickly that I didn’t want cooking to feel like work or follow a strict path. I wanted it to stay something I enjoyed, something that felt natural and personal.
Over time, the account grew into something more. What started as photography became recipes, and then a space where I could share the kind of food I actually make at home.
Figsandfizz feels like a combination of everything that shaped it — creativity, routine, and the kind of meals that bring people together.
